The HEMME Approach
Florida Renewal Courses

  Special Offer

These two courses were designed specifically for Florida LMTs, and your course information will be submitted
to CE Broker.  Besides being approved by Florida, they are also approved by the National Certification Board
of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB).

Because of a Florida rule change that applies to this renewal period, a licensed massage therapist (LMT) must now take at least twelve CEs by attending a seminar, lecture, etc.  Even though you cannot complete all of your CEs by taking home-study courses—which was allowed during the last renewal—you can still complete 12 CEs plus the HIV-AIDS requirement by taking home-study courses.

The HEMME Approach Florida Renewal Package:     $35     course will give you 12 CEs (including the 6 CEs that are required) and satisfy your Florida HIV-AIDS requirement.  This is the maximum number of CEs you can complete by taking home-study courses.  This course includes:

HEMME Approach to Hand Therapy (6 CEs)--massage therapy course
HEMME Approach to Ethics and Law (4 CEs)--ethics and law requirement
HEMME Approach to Medical Errors (2 CEs)--medical errors requirement
      The One-Hour AIDS Course--HIV-AIDS requirement

If you decide to take one of these courses for CE credits, please call us before you send in the answer sheet so we can register you for the course.  Our toll-free number is 1-888-547-9594.

HEMME Approach believes that providing high-quality education is the best way to guarantee that the massage therapy profession will continue to evolve and prosper.  Even if you never take one of our courses for credit, you are welcome to download and read any of the courses that is posted on our web site.  We provide this free library service for two reasons:  (1) we believe that every massage therapist should have access to this information and (2) it gives you a chance to look at a course and then decide if you would like to take the course for credit.  You are also welcome to print these courses or save them on your hard drive or on a CD.

If you ever compare this course with a similar course and you have any questions about which course you should take, read through both courses and then ask yourself which course will help you become a better massage therapist.  The answer to this question should help you decide.
